Driver charged in deadly summer crash
SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY, Pa. -- The driver of a tractor trailer that set off a chain reaction crash killing one person and injuring three others on a Pennsylvania highway this past summer has now been charged.
Samba Doucoure, 42, of North Carolina, was driving through a construction zone on Interstate 81 in Lenox Township back in July when he crossed over from the right to the left lane on a curve, leading to the crash.
Brian Wilcox, 56, of Maryland, was killed.
Doucoure has been charged with homicide by a motor vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and numerous other traffic charges. He was arraigned Wednesday and released on $50,000 bail.
