One man dead in Syracuse homicide

Syracuse Police are investigating a homicide on the city's southside. It happened early this morning on West Kennedy Street. Our Brad Vivacqua has the latest details.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are investigating a homicide that happened early Friday morning.

Police say they were called to West Kennedy Street on the city's southside for a shots fired complaint just before 2 a.m. When they arrived at 221 W. Kennedy Street, they found the victim, a 65-year-old male, dead on the scene.

Police have not yet identified the victim. The cause of death is also unknown at this time.

Witnesses say three people possibly entered the home and attacked the victim.
