HAMILTON, N.Y. - Colgate junior quarterback Gavin McCarney accounted for 510 total yards and five touchdowns on Saturday to lead a Raiders offense that racked up a program-record 707 total yards overall in a 57-36 victory over Georgetown.
McCarney threw for 377 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 133 and two more scores. Daniel Cason caught nine passes for 173 yards and Jordan McCord added 154 yards on the ground to give him at least 100 rushing yards in each of Colgate's seven games this season.
The win improves the Raiders to 4-3 overall and 2-0 in the Patriot League.
