STATEWIDE -- Governor Andrew Cuomo is organizing teams from the state government to help New Yorkers with severe property damage figure out a way to get back on their feet. Those teams will be available by phone on Friday, and will be visiting the most damaged area of New York beginning next week.

New York City tunnels and subways remain flooded, and transportation remains limited. Cuomo said New Yorkers have to stick together.

"Right now we are a community of people that needs to support one another, that needs to help, that needs to comfort, that needs assistance because you have a lot of people that are undergoing very difficult circumstances," said Cuomo. "And I have one simple suggestion that I would ask all New Yorkers: check on your neighbor."

With gas and transportation shortages, Cuomo also warned against price gauging, noting that the Attorney General is monitoring the situation.
