SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police have identified the man killed behind an apartment complex on James Street over the weekend.

Police say Andrew Doyle, 43, died of a fatal gunshot wound. He was found dead around 7:45 p.m. Sunday in the rear parking lot of the John Lawrence Apartments.

Authorities say Doyle was a tenant there. They are still working with witnesses as they continue to search for the suspect.
