Police searching for armed robbery suspect
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are investigating an armed robbery in the city. It happened around 6:15 p.m. Sunday at the corner of Midland Avenue and Furman Street.
Police say a 55-year-old man was walking home from the store when he was approached by a man demanding money. The suspect pulled out a knife and got away with the man's cash. The victim was cut on the hand but refused medical treatment.
The suspect is described as a 30- to 35-year-old man, about 5’7” with a medium build, and he was wearing a brown coat and a baseball cap. He was last seen running down Furman towards South Salina Street.
