ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Temperatures were barely above freezing Tuesday night, but Limp Lizard had the grill fired up, getting ready to head down to New Jersey for Hurricane Sandy relief.

Employees will be going to Toms River, New Jersey, just outside of the hard hit coastal area. They expect to feed rescue workers and displaced homeowners.

The idea to help out came from Limp Lizard's owner Chuck Orlando.

"It's just neighbors helping neighbors and Chuck is always helping and supporting causes like this. And so it was Chuck's idea and we just brainstormed it together and people donated food, donated money and here we are on our way down to New Jersey," said John Muldoon, PR Director for Limp Lizard.

The crew heads out Wednesday and will have enough pulled pork fixings to feed 2,500 people.
