SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police have identified the victim killed in an apparent drive by shooting early Sunday morning. It happened just before 3:30 a.m. at South McBride Street near Wieser Court.

Eric Walker, 24, was taken to Upstate University Hospital by private vehicle. He was pronounced dead shortly after.

Meanwhile, several 911 calls flooded in for shots fired. Witnesses told police the shots came from a late model gray SUV. Police are continuing to search for the vehicle.
