AUBURN, N.Y. -- Good news for an Auburn family we first told you about this summer. Baby Easton Friedel will be returning home later this week after spending time at a Cincinnati hospital.
Easton, who was born in August, was undergoing treatment for a painful, incurable skin condition. Epidermolysis bullosa, or EB, causes the skin to blister when touched.
Family members posted on Facebook that Easton will be released from the hospital by Thursday at the latest.
He'll have to go back to Cincinnati for checkups every three months for a year, then every six months.
