SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Executive Director of the McMahon-Ryan Child Advocacy Center will soon take on her new role as Family Court Judge. But before she begins the 10 year term, Julie Cecile took part in end of the year events for the center.

On Friday, crowds headed to Clinton Square for 14th annual “Sounds of the Season” fundraiser. It's one of the biggest fundraisers for the center and recognizes those who are dedicated to the cause.

"We honor individuals who have been front line people and organizations who have helped us throughout the years," Cecile said.

Among the honorees were representatives of the Junior League of Syracuse and Joanna Gozzi of the Onondaga County Attorney’s Office.
