SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Officials say a fire in a Syracuse apartment was intentionally set.

Crews were called to the Ballantyre Apartments on Ballantyne Road just before 9 p.m. Saturday. They say the fire was knocked down in less than five minutes because it was contained to a third floor apartment.

Officials tell us one woman was trapped inside that apartment. She was taken to Upstate University Hospital for smoke inhalation.

No other injuries have been reported.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is continuing. No arrests have been made yet.
