BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- We know their puck handling skills are pretty good, but how about their tray handling abilities?

Members of the Binghamton Senators stepped off the ice and into the dining room Wednesday evening for the ninth annual Toys for Tots spaghetti dinner at Little Venice restaurant in Binghamton.

Some players dined with fans while others were put to work delivering meals and taking orders.

All items collected at the dinner will be distributed to children in the community during the holiday season.

"Christmastime is a time I remember growing up. It's always a good time getting gifts and giving gifts and we want kids in this community to experience the same thing," said B-Sens Forward Shane Prince.

Toys for Tots expects to distribute about 3,000 gifts to community children this year.
