JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. -- An arrest has been made following a four-hour standoff in the Town of Rutland. Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home on Andrews Road Tuesday night to check on the welfare of Robert Brady, 37.

When deputies arrived, they say Brady fired several rounds from a shotgun and rifle at them. After four hours, Brady was taken into custody. He is charged with reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon, and menacing a police officer.

No one was hurt in the incident.
