Man indicted for murder of wife
ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Baldwinsville man with one murder conviction already on his record has been indicted on a new second degree murder charge.
Robert Burger, 68, is accused of murdering his wife, Rebecca Dethlefs, 56. She was found dead in her home back in January.
Authorities say Burger has a criminal history and is on lifetime parole for killing a priest in New York City, for which he served 28 years in prison.
