BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. -- A Missouri man was killed after being hit by a falling tree at an oil site in Burlington Township.

According to the Bradford County coroner, Kenneth Donovan Elliott, 42, was killed after a tree fell on him at the Madigan Well Site a little before 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Elliott was using a chainsaw to clear the way for a natural gas line when the tree came down. The coroner says he died from blunt force head trauma.

The father of three was employed by a Texas based company called Midway Oilfield.
