Some school districts have not yet submitted teacher evaluation plans

NEW YORK STATE -- The deadline is ticking for school districts to submit teacher evaluation plans.

Governor Andrew Cuomo and Albany lawmakers gave administrators until January 17th to have plans approved and in place and 180 schools still need to re-submit plans for approval with the Department of Education and 27 districts have not submitted any evaluation proposal to Albany.

Several of those districts that haven’t submitted plans are in Central New York, including North Syracuse, New York Mills, Altmar-Parish-Williamstown, Remsen and Sauquoit Valley.

Schools that do not have teacher evaluation plans in time risk losing state funding.
