CORNING, NY-- The Horseheads girls high school basketball team throttled Corning on Thursday night to the tune of 67-34. The Raiders got 18 points from Jen Chalk on their way to a 7-0 record.

The Raiders led 19-8 at the end of the first quarter and stretched the lead to 21 at half time, 40-19.

14 of Chalk's 18 points came in the first half. The Raiders have a game against two loss Binghamton on the horizon next week.
