ONEIDA, N.Y. -- Police in Oneida are asking for your help in tracking down a man who robbed the Alliance Bank on Genesee Street last week.

Surveillance photos of the suspect were taken last Thursday just before 5 p.m. Investigators say the man passed a note to the bank teller, saying that he was armed. He was given cash, and that's when he fled the scene in an SUV.

Police say the suspect sped off erratically, almost hitting other cars and a pedestrian. It was last seen heading north on Broad Street.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Oneida City Police at 363-2323
