Father and son face charges after drug bust in Bradford
STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. -- A father and a son are arrested during a drug investigation in the town of Bradford. Authorities say they found meth and a number or guns during a search of a residence on State Route 226.
As a result, they arrested Jonathan Fernandes, 35. He is charged with second degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Troopers say that during the search, his father, Joseph Fernandes, interfered with the investigation. He was also charged with obstructing governmental administration.
Both were taken to Steuben County Jail. More charges are possible in the case.
