STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Corning man arrested during a post-prom party on Keuka Lake last spring has now been charged with rape.

Jordan Frysinger, 19, of Corning, was first charged with reckless endangerment. Police claimed that he engaged in sexual conduct with an intoxicated victim and failed to ensure her safety afterward.

On Monday, he was indicted on more serious charges. He is now facing three counts of first degree rape and one count of first degree criminal sexual act. Officials have not told us the reason for the additional counts.

Frysinger is scheduled to return to court in late February.
