WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. -- First came Owego, then Hammondsport. Now, Watkins Glen is the latest Southern Tier community vying to become the coolest small town in America.

Watkins Glen has made it to the final round of Budget Travel’s Coolest Small Town Contest. Budget has revealed this year's top 15 cool small towns in the country and online voting will determine this year's winner.

Owego won the distinction in 2009 and Hammondsport followed that up by winning the 2012 contest.

There are only 29 days left to vote for this year's winner.
