WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- One of Watertown's biggest businesses is celebrating a big anniversary this month. Stream Global has been in town for 10 years now.

The company handles assistance phone calls from a variety of major corporations. Currently, Stream has more than 500 employees who answer tens of thousands of those calls each day.

Stream officials say the company wouldn't be anywhere near as successful as it is without the local workforce and community support. It's support Stream says it tries to give right back, raising money and food for local organizations.

"It's really critical to our organization, trying to do more than just give people a paycheck and try to create an environment where people want to come to work and where we try to work together to give back to the community where we as a group think are critically important," said Bryan Black, Stream Watertown Site Director.

Stream is also currently in the middle of an expansion. The room will add a couple hundred more work spaces, enable Stream to add more clients, and hire even more workers.
