WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- Activists manned every corner holding up signs defending a right they believe is being taken away by the newly passed gun control legislation.

Protesters say supporters from all over need to come together.

"If you come out and stand up it will bring more people out, you know? The more people that come out and stand up the less they want to attack us. We have got to stand together or fall alone," said Troy Walts, Watertown resident.

Activists say the new gun control law is taking weapons away from the wrong people, those who are law abiding citizens.
