ORONO, Maine (AP) - Jimmy Gray's 3-pointer with 2 seconds remaining lifted Binghamton over Maine 57-56 Saturday, ending the Bearcats' 12-game losing streak.

Jordan Reed scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half for the Bearcats (3-16, 1-5 America East Conference), including three baskets that either gave them the lead or a tie in the final 4:23. Reed also had 10 rebounds.

Gray finished with 14 points and was 3 of 5 from long range in the second half.

The Black Bears (7-11, 2-3) led 32-21 at halftime and 44-32 with 12:25 to play before two consecutive baskets by Roland Brown began the Bearcats' comeback.

Binghamton shot 57.1 percent (16 of 28) in the second half to Maine's 33.3 percent (9 of 27) and turned the ball over just four times after committing 12 first-half turnovers.

Justin Edwards scored 12 points for Maine, which has lost three straight.
