Teenagers charged with burglary

JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. -- Two Johnson City teens were arrested for allegedly stealing a car from an 85-year-old woman.

Police say while on patrol early Tuesday morning, an officer found William Green Junior, 19, and a 16-year-old boy in a car in a parking lot in Johnson City.

During an investigation, they found out the car was stolen in a burglary at a home several blocks away.

Both teenagers were charged with second-degree burglary, tampering with physical evidence, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and endangering the welfare of a child. They were both taken to Broome County Jail.
