Syracuse police cruiser involved in crash on Erie Boulevard
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A Syracuse police officer was involved in a crash along Erie Boulevard at the intersection of Bruce Street.
According to detectives, the officer was responding to a burglary when his van was hit by a Honda Civic.
Five people were taken to the hospital. None of the injuries are described as serious.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Investigators have not released the names of anyone involved in the accident yet.
