Man found guilty in nightclub stabbing

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- A Binghamton man has been convicted of attempted murder for a stabbing outside a Binghamton nightclub last year.

Joshua Vaughn was accused of using a four inch knife to stab a bouncer at the Voodoo Lounge on Charlotte Street last January after he wasn't allowed in to a private party. His trial began last week.

The jury deliberated for more than two days before finding him guilty of second degree attempted murder and first degree assault.

Vaughn is being held at the Broome County Jail for now, until his sentencing in late April.
