ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Some good news for hockey fans in the Twin Tiers. It looks like the Jackals will be skating at First Arena well into the future.
A settlement was reached inside Rochester bankruptcy court Tuesday after more than 12 hours of negotiations.
When this season ends, a new owner, Elm Arena, will take over operations for the stadium.
There was a dispute about $123,000 in back taxes. Three years of payments were missed.
Details of the agreement were not released.
