NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. -- The teen who was sentenced for killing his father at their home in Vernon five years ago has been arrested again.
Back in 2008, Joseph Giacona III shot and killed his father. Giacona was just 13-years-old at the time. He later pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to time in a juvenile detention facility.
Now 18, Giacona was arrested again in New York City. He has been charged with attempted robbery.
Giacona was released and is due back in court Friday.
