SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police make two separate traffic stops but they both had something in common: drivers going the wrong way and driving under the influence.

Around 2:45 Saturday morning, police said Linda Grimaldi, 44, slammed her car into a mini-van taxi cab carrying two people. Luckily, neither was hurt, although Grimaldi sustained a broken leg.

She's now facing misdemeanor DWI and reckless driving charges. She was also ticketed for driving on the wrong side of the road.

Then, earlier that night, around 7:30 p.m. Friday, police spotted Kyari Tyson, 20, driving west on Route 690 East. He was eventually stopped on Route 81.

Tyson was ticketed for driving the wrong way, driving while ability impaired by drugs, and unlicensed operation.
