UTICA, N.Y. -- A Utica woman is accused of leading police on a chase through the city.

Investigators said Yanique Forsythe, 20, was driving near Mohawk and Bleecker Streets, when police tried to pull her over.

The chase ended quickly when Forsythe drove into a telephone pole.

When police looked into the car, officers found a three year old in the back seat.

Forsythe is facing several charges, including aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law, unlawful fleeing of a police officer, and child endangerment.
