Man arrested after Windsor standoff
WINDSOR, N.Y. -- A Broome County man is facing several charges after a standoff in the Town of Windsor.
State Police were called to 42 Bennett Road for a domestic dispute Monday afternoon. Troopers say Jose Gonzalez, 45, threatened two people with a rifle and barricaded himself inside the home after police arrived.
After about seven hours, police entered the home and found Gonzalez hiding in a closet.
He's charged with misdemeanor counts of menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child.
