GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch blew a 3-1 lead and lost 4-3 in overtime at Adirondack on Friday, but the point earned moved them into sole possession of seventh place in the Eastern Conference playoff race with seven games remaining.
Patrick Maroon scored two goals for Syracuse, which is now one point ahead of Manchester and two ahead of Adirondack. The Crunch will look to improve their positioning Saturday night when they visit the worst team in the AHL, Binghamton.
