SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A group of high schoolers from Fayetteville Manlius used their artistic talents to brighten up the inside of the Camp Good Days and Special Times office in Syracuse.

The Art Exhibition Club designed and painted a new mural, which portrays a day at the beach. They've been working on the design since October, and spent about 12 hours actually completing the artwork.

In the end, they said it was a great experience getting to make the mural, and they hope the kids at Camp Good Days enjoy it too.

Katie Gabriel, Art Teacher at FM High School said, “A lot of fun. A lot of color, a lot of nice, happy positive feelings that the kids can expect at camp good days."

The mural was designed by a 10th grader. It replaced another piece of artwork that had been there for more than a decade.
